Summary Archeological department has moved its authority letter in the court for recovery of unique relics.

The Archeological department has submitted its authority letter, claiming the possession of recently recovered priceless relics, in the court of judicial magistrate East.The letter submitted by the Archeological department prays that since these priceless relics could very well be stolen, they should be handed over to them.The police had impounded these priceless archeological relics from a trawler searched at Awami Colony, while they were being smuggled within Country.Two culprits were arrested in the scam, while two were free on interim bail.The Archeological department has stated that these recovered relics also include an archaic and tall relic of Buddha, while they had also submitted the list of 395 relics, after intense research.The director Archeological department, Qasim Ali has said that writ petition had been filed to claim back the relics, and after granting of permission these relics would be shifted to Karachi Museum.The Archeological department would also undergo repairs of broken relics, before restring them to Karachi Museum.
