Summary Power supply to distribution companies has reduced by 15 percent despite increase in demand.
According to a report issued by the LESCO, cut in power supply from national grid station is main cause of loadsheddding, adding that at least 226 million electricity units were produced to the LESCO in May as compared with he same period of the last year.The report further says that unscheduled loadshedding has increased due to reduction in power generation.
