Summary LHC adjourned the hearing into a petition seeking ban on VIP culture till July 23.
On behalf of Jamat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Advocate A.K. Dogar stated that court should issue directives to end VIP culture for the provision of equal rights to every individual.The petitioner’s lawyer stated that government has exempted VIPs from load shedding while majority of the people are deprived of livelihood due to severe power outages.The court sought reply from PEPCO and LESCO and adjourned the hearing till July 23.
