The government has approached Interpol for expulsion of former Chairman Accountability Bureau (Ehtesab Bureau) Saifur Rehman from Qatar.Interior Advisor Rehman Malik said during a news conference in Karachi that the Interior Ministry has written a letter to Interpol in Qatar.FIA had issued red warrants of Saifur Rehman in 2009.The Advisor said the Ministry has also issued ten billion rupee libel notice to Punjab Minister Rana Sanaullah for issuing irresponsible statements against the federation.He said the Secretary Interior has also written a letter to Chief Minister Punjab to restrain such elements from issuing irresponsible statements against the federation.The Interior Advisor said instead of indulging in politics of statements‚ the opposition should prepare for elections which would prove its worth.Replying to questions he said some vested interests are spoiling peace of Karachi to advance their nefarious designs.He expressed the confidence that peace would prevail in the city during Ramzan.
