Summary President Zardari has said that Pak-India cricket revival would increase confidence building.
President Asif Ali Zardari has hoped that the resumption of Pak-India cricket ties would prove to be a formidable confidence building measure and a way forward towards encouraging people-to-people contacts.In his letter sent to the Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh‚ he said the resumption of the game would add to positive atmosphere that has been witnessed by the two countries after resumption of the bilateral dialogue.The President said that during his recent visit to India‚ he discussed resumption of cricket ties between the two countries with the Indian Prime Minister.President Zardari expressed happiness over resumption of cricket matches between Pakistan and India after a gap of five years.
