Summary Acting CEC has said action would be taken against violation of rules in Multan by-election.
Acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Shakirullah Jan arrived in Multan to check the arrangements of by-election in NA-151 Multan.Talking to media on this occasion, he said that the limit of election expenditures including supporters financing has been decided Rs 1.5 million.He said election expenditures are being monitored and action would be taken against violators of rules and regulations.Justice Shakir added that the Election Commission enjoys financial autonomy but where it needs finances for expenditures the government should provide funds.
