Summary Accountability court of Rawalpindi has reopened references against Sharif brothers.
This was done on the recommendations of National Accountability Bureau for their involvement in corruption cases.Judge of Rawalpindi accountability court, Chaudhary Abdul Haq has issued notices to the concerned parties and has asked them to appear before the court on July 28.The applicant had asked to reopen delayed references against the Sharif brothers in cases of Hudaibyah Paper Mills, Ittefaq foundry and Raiwind Farmhouse. These references were filed during Musharraf’s reign but were not taken up by the accountability court for some reasons. In the past, former Deputy Prosecutor General, Zulfiqar Bhutta had also requested the court to hear these references but the hearing was not held.
