Summary Finance Minister Wednesday has released funds worth Rs 10 billion to the PSO.
The funds released by the Ministry for Finance would be given to the PSO via PEPCO.The Pakistan State Oil had asked the government that the Power Sector was not paying its due charges. Under such circumstances, it is impossible to provide required quantity of furnace oil to power plants.The PSO has also requested the government that it should be provided about Rs 50 billion for satisfaction of its needs.Taking it serious, the government has issued Rs 10 billion which would be handed over to the PSO via PEPCO.
