Summary A woman allegedly killed for honour in 2011 appeared in the court on Tuesday.
According to details, police had registered a case of murder against father and brother of a woman Dibai for murdering her in 2011 after declaring her as ‘Kari’ in Saleh Pat area of Sukkur.But the situation turned dramatic when the woman appeared in the Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench along with her lawyer.The woman stated in the court that she was not murdered but kidnapped by an influential landlord of the area namely Bagh Mehr.She said that the kidnapper with connivance of police involved her father Sattar and brother Bhoro Muhammdani in a case of murder case against them.Dibai told the court that the accused landlord had detained her in Karachi and had been subjecting her to sexual abuse and freed her after receiving a ransom of Rs 1 million.
