Pakistan’s former ambassador to US Husain Haqqani has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking exemption from court appearance during the memogate scandal hearing.Earlier, a nine-judge bench, headed by Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan had granted three days time to Haqqani’s counsel to submit an application as per the rules for exemption of his client’s appearance before the bench.
