The counsel of Property tycoon Malik Riaz, Abdul Basit, earlier filed an intra-court appeal in the SC in court contempt case.The appeal was filed in Supreme Court against his client’s expected indictment in court contempt case.On Friday, a three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan resumed the contempt of the court proceedings against real estate tycoon Malik Riaz. The court issued notice to Attorney General Irfan Qadir regarding Malik Riaz’s indictment.A show-cause notice was issued on June 13 to Riaz for hurling allegations at Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry at his press conference of June 12.
