At least eight people were drowned when a cable car lift installed over the River Indus in Chillas area broke a support wire and all the passengers were swept away by the strong river currents.According to police, the drowned hailed from Goharabad and rescue operation is underway. However, the rescue operation is being hindred by strong river currents.
