Lahore on Fridayreceived some respite from the sweltering heat as the rain of the monsoon season turned the weather pleasant.Heavy showers also lashed Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha and other areas of central Punjab.Suffering from a heat spell lasting for weeks, people could be seen outdoors enjoying the pleasant weather.Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rainfall over upper and central Punjab during next 48 hours.Highest temperature was recorded in Dadu (47C) and Dalbandin (46C) on Friday morning.
