Balochistan case: CJP chides IG over law and order

Summary Chief justice has expressed his displeasure over the working of police.

A three-member bench headed by chief justice iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case pertaining to the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.Expressing displeasure over Inspector General (IG) Balochistan, chief justice asked him to go himself and produce Mehmood AlHassan in court tomorrow.Adding remarks, Chief justice said police had to maintain law and order in five percent of the area but still they have failed to restore peace in their respective region.Another judge of the bench, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain said kidnappers take away innocent people because of absence of a proper checking system.
