Summary Munawar Hasan has said corrupt rulers were striking down laws that harm their selfish interests.
Addressing a large Friday congregation at Mansoora mosque, he said that allowing dual nationality to parliament members was deadly against the national interests. He said the bar on the dual nationality for the law makers and rulers existed in several countries.Similarly, he said, the government bill to exempt the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers from the contempt of court law was a crude attempt to provide protection to their corruption.He said that any legislation to undo death sentence would be strongly resisted.Syed Munawar Hasan said that having accepted the US slavery, there was a conspiracy to make the country a slave of India as well. The PPP and its allies stood united only for their selfish ends.The JI Ameer observed that in every critical moment for the country and the nation, PML(N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif dashed to London.Now that the rulers had restored NATO supplies, Mian Sahib should have been in the country to lead protest rallies.There could not be a greater service to the country and the nation than facing police lathi charge and going behind the bars for national defense, he remarked.He said the Defai e Pakistan Council would mobilize the nation against the NATO supplies. He was sure that the peaceful movement would end up in a revolution. .Syed Munawar Hasan said that the parliament had laid down certain conditions for the NATO supplies restoration but the US slaves ruling the country did not care for that.He said that the enemy was busy in conspiracies to divide the nation in groups while the rulers were fully supporting them. At this moment, the national leaders should be vigilant and prepare for a long struggle.
