Summary Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa govt has finalized its plan for security of NATO trucks in Peshawar.
In a high-level meeting it was decided that no terminal will be allowed near the residential areas. Terminals at the Ring Road will be closed and shifted to GT Road away from the populated areas.The police teams will be patrolling the area during the presence of NATO containers in the area and movement of trucks will not be allowed at nighttime.The meeting decided that political administration and FC will be responsible for the security of the containers in the Khyber Agency area.Meanwhile, the truck owners have demanded foolproof security saying government will be responsible for the attacks on the convoys.
