Summary Electricity shortfall has reached.4,164MW.
According to PEPCO sources, electricity generation currently stands at 14,010MW against the demand of 18, 174MW. The sources said that decrease in shortfall is due to improvement in oil supply.Urban areas are facing 12-14 hours of power cuts while rural areas are facing 14-16 hours of loadshedding.
