PTI vows to resist Contempt of Court Amended Bill

The PTI chairman has said that there is no rationale of the parliament after restoration of Nato supply.Addressing a public rally against energy crisis in Gujranwala, Imran Khan said that the country is leading to decay and destruction due to corruption, inflation and unemployment while ruling class along with their mafia is busy with collecting wealth by hook or by crook.While making comparison between President Zardari and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, Khan said that both of them have same agenda.He said the hungry and angry people would take decision on roads regarding betterment of the country.Masses are suffering from inflation and energy crisis while the cabinet of Asif Ali Zardari is busy in securing its corruption by so-called rules and regulations.Due to loadshedding, Imran Khan had to complete his address in two pauses.Earlier, talking to the media, he said the function of parliament is to secure the rights of the nation but here the situation is diametrically opposite as all the law makers are ‘thugs’ who have nothing to do with the rights of the people.Commenting on Nawaz Sharif, he said that the country is confronted with challenging problems while the leadership of PML-N has escaped to London, perhaps, for rest.He said that there is no difference between the PPP and the PML-N as both of them have been enjoying rule in the name of so-called democracy. When general polls are at a foot; both of them have started playing their tactics in order to befool the nation for their vested interests.Throwing light on new amended bill regarding contempt of court, he said that rulers have made law as a puppet for their benefits; that is why they are clashing with the courts of the country.He made it clear that the PTI would stand by the Supreme Court which is sole protector to the civil rights as well as a stumbling block in the way of cruel and corrupt politicians.
