Summary The NATO containers from Karachi are expected to leave for Afghanistan today.

According to sources, the NATO containers will leave for Afghanistan after getting approval from the government. About 135 containers will leave for Afghanistan from Port Qasim Karachi while, about 2,000 tankers are also ready to move from Karachi.NATO supply route was reopened after a seven-month blockade. The federal cabinet endorsed the decision of the Defence Committee of the Cabinet (DCC) for reopening of the supply route.However, no notification in this regard has been issued yet.
