Summary LHC judge has refused to conduct hearing of writ against Arsalan Iftikhar case by the NAB.
The petitioner Amanullah Bhatti said in his writ petition that the NAB is not authorized to conduct an inquiry into the Arsalan Iftikhar case, adding that the NAB is unable to handle the matter candidly and transparently.The petitioner also said that the NAB also could not shoulder its responsibility due to pressure of the government.It was prayed to the court that the NAB should be ordered to stop the inquiry of the aforesaid case.When LHC Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Iftikhar Shah commenced hearing of the case, the former judge, while apologizing to conduct hearing of the case, referred it to the Chief Justice Lahore Court for further orders.
