Summary Police raided meeting of YDA at Services Hospital Lahore and arrested several doctors.
A meeting of the general council of Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) was underway at Services Hospital to review the intense situation between the Punjab government and the protesting doctors when a large number of police and laid siege to the hospital and started arresting the young doctors.Police broke the doors during the search and entered into the doctors hostel adjacent to the hospital and arrested several doctors including office-bearers of YDA.On the other hand, YDA has announced to close outdoors and emergency wards across the province while the young doctors immediately closed emergency and indoor wards of Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
