Soon after the release of Surjeet Singh, India has now asked for the release of Sarabjeet Singh, an Indian spy imprisoned in Pakistani jail for 20 years over charges of his involvement in 1990 serial blasts.India’s Foreign Minister SM Krishna, while talking to media on Wednesday, said Pakistan should release all such Indian prisoners who have completed their sentence.“I have seen media reports about the impending release from imprisonment in Pakistan of Surejeet Singh. I welcome this decision and further renew our request to the President of Pakistan to release Sarabjit Singh who has been in custody for over two decades. He is serving a death sentence,” SM Krishna said.Earlier, President Zardaris spokesman clarified that authorities were working on the release of Surjeet Singh, not Sarabjit Singh.
