Summary Pakistan Railways Lahore Division is left with only two days diesel.
The railways authorities have directed Rawalpindi Division to purchase 20, 000 litres of diesel from open market to run the trains.On the other hand, Lahore Railway Division has only two days’ diesel for consumption after which the trains operation is feared to be halted.The railways authorities have confirmed that there was shortage of diesel despite the planned formula but they claimed that Lahore Railways Division would receive diesel supply till Wednesday evening and the train operation would be continued as usual.
