Summary President Asif Ali Zardaris immunity was challenged in the Supreme Court on Monday.
The petitioner Advocate Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi objected to President Asif Ali Zardari’s immunity under Article 248 of the constitution of Pakistan.The petitioner has also referred to Article 43 of the constitution of Pakistan and said that president of the country cannot hold two offices.President Asif Ali Zardari is serving as the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) as well.
