Summary The ECP has formally notified the disqualification of yousaf Raza Gilani as MNA since April 26.
Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan had directed the Election Commission to take the needful action regarding the eligibility of Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani after the SC verdict on June 19.Addressing a press conference, the Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira had declared that Yousaf Raza Gilani has no more the prime minister and the cabinet as a consequence stood dissolved.According to sources, the PPP has unanimously decided that Ch Ahmad Mukhtar will replace Mr Gilani as new prime minister of the country.
