Summary Advocate Nadeem Ahmed was arrested by NAB officials at Karachi airport.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested one of the directors of Callmate Tellips Telecom Ltd (CTTL) for being allegedly involved in corruption.Accused Nadeem Ahmed was presented in Karachis NAB courtwhere he was remanded in judicial custody till July 10.Earlier on receiving complaint an investigation was launched against the director of Callmate Telips Telecom Limited.According to details, from 2003 till 2008, the company cheated the public and government of more than Rs 6.0 billion through a number of illegal actions regarding purchase of properties, unauthorised trading in Karachi Stock Exchange, non- payment of dues to PTA and PTCL, blockage of “Calling Cards” issued in the public were the main source of transferring money from the company account to private accounts.
