Summary Most of the Plain areas across the country are in grip of severe heat wave.
According to Met Office, maximum temperatures was recorded in Jacobabad where mercury soured up to 46 C.The Met Office has predicted dust-thunderstorm and light rain in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan, Lower Sindh, DIKhan division, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while hot and dry weather will persist in rest of the country.
