Summary Paneeta says after Pakistan blocked NATO route an alternative route was adopted but it proved costly
US Defence Minister Leon Paneeta Wednesday said that NATO had to adopt an alternative route which increased the cost of transportation.He said al-Qaeda had been weakened but there were still dangers for the United States.He informed the Defence Committee that Iran and North Korea were threats for the world.
