Summary CJP has said judiciary was targeted after it ordered probe into a Bahria guard murder.
The Supreme Court had directed former DG FIA Javed Iqbal and current DG FIA Fiaz Laghari to investigate the murder of a Behria Town guard.A three member SC bench headed by CJP CH Iftekhar heard the case of murder of the guard.Former DG FIA Javed Iqbal and current DG FIA Fiaz Laghari also appeared in the court and sought time for the submission of report.In his remarks the Chief Justice said it should ascertained that who was behind this murder.He said this case has not emerged suddenly from nowhere. “This case is being heard in time,” he said.Former DG FIA in his April report said had said that it was a four year old case and it was difficult now to trace who shot the guard dead.To this the Chief Justice said murders can never be concealed.
