The central and southern parts of the country remained under the grip of heat during last 24 hours.Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next twenty four hours.The highest 47C temperature was recorded in Turbat on Monday.The maximum temperature of some major cities was: Sukkur 43C, Nawabshah 42C, Karachi and Quetta 35C, Multan 41C, Lahore 40C, Islamabad and Peshawar 38C and Murree 25C.According to Met Office, isolated dust-thunderstorm rain is likely in Gujranwala‚ Lahore‚‚ Faisalabad‚ D.I.Khan‚ Bannu‚ Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
