Summary CJP's son Arsalan Iftikhar has denied all the charges leveled against him by Malik Riaz.
Supreme Courts two-member bench on Monday will resume the hearing into suo motu case regarding allegations of business deals between the chief justice’s son, Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry, and real estate tycoon Malik Riaz Hussain.Earlier today, Arsalan Iftikharfiled a petition in the Supreme Court for the registration of a case against Malik Riaz.The petition stated that Malik Riaz had in the past shunned from fulfilling his legal responsibilities and alsoalleged that he has violated the law by not appearing in the court despite orders.Dr Arsalan has asked the court to stop Malik Riaz from releasing the so-called material or evidence, adding that thematerial should be presented before the court as the matter was sub judice.On the other hand, Malik Riazs lawyer Zahid Bukhari while talking to media outside Supreme Court said his client will definitely appear in the court to record his statement.Bukhari said his will present some important documents and evidence in the case.As per information, Malik Riaz is due to arrive in the country from London today.
