Summary In the first week after Budget 2012-13 the prices of 24 daily used commodities increased.

According to Statistical Department, the increase in average inflation reached 12.06 per cent in the first week of June.In the first week of the month the prices of tomato witnessed an increase of 2.50 percent, sugar and bread 2 percent, onion and edible oil one percent.The prices of cigarette increased by 5.4 percent, LPG 3.7 percent and cloth 2 percent. Meanwhile, increase in prices of milk, yogurt, pototo, meat and wheat was also recorded.
