Summary Rehman Malik appointment as an Advisor to PM on Interior has been challenged on Thursday.
A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court, challenging the appointment of Rehman Malik as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior.The petition, filed by Mehmood Akhtar Siddiqui, states that Rehman Malik was made Advisor to PM following suspension of his Senate membership on the courts order with the intention of insulting the judiciary.The Federation, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and Rehman Malik have been made respondents in the petition.
