Summary CESS chairman has said strike will continue till reversal of price-hike.

Chairman All Pakistan CNG Association Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha has said that the strike of CNG stations will continue till the government takes back the rise in the price of CNG and cancels the proposed tax, called CESS.Ghiyas Paracha in a statement said that all the CNG stations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Balochistan would remain closed till the acceptance of their demands.“We need support from the public as we are fighting not only for ourselves but also for the public,” he said.He also said that the imposition of CESS tax would cost 5000 to 10,000 rupees extra burden on the budget of the middle class.He appealed to the public to bear this temporary problem in order to avoid a bigger problem.Chairman All Pakistan CNG Association, Ghiyas Paracha said the association had not announced to call off the strike and it was only from a group in Sindh who did that.
