Summary US consulate employees were detained for possessing illegal weapons.

US consulates three Pakistani employees were presented before a local court in Peshawar on Tuesday.During case proceeding, the accused including security in-charge Manzoor, drivers Ihsan Khan and Asif Khan were released after posting Rs 100,000 bail bond.Earlier, law enforcement officials in Peshawar intercepted two US Consulate vehicles at a motorway toll plaza and recovered huge cache of arms. Four US diplomats and three Pakistani employees were detained but the US Consul General in Peshawar Marie Richards - after an hour long negotiations – managed to secure release of the diplomats.
