Three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing of lady health workers salaries case.Counsel of Planning Commission informed the court that the federal government issued the funds up to 2012 to the provincial governments. Additional Secretary told the court that the employments end with the completion of short-term projects.In his remarks, the Chief Justice said the health facilities can not be suspended with the suspensions of projects.The Chief Justice directed to resolve the issue of regularisation of lady health workers. The court adjourned the hearing till June 8.
