Summary The PPP on Sunday stated its members will not create uproar during Pujab Assembly's budget session.
It was decided in the meeting of Ms. Faryal Talpur, MNA and President PPP Women Wing, with Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House on Sunday.It was decided that during the budget speech of Punjab Finance Minister, PPP will not indulge in any rowdiness, un-parliamentary, un-democratic and un-ethical behaviour like the PML (N) during the Federal Budget speech, an official statement said.The Prime Minister reiterated that PPP would not allow derailment of democracy for which the party and its founding fathers had rendered innumerable sacrifices. We will not fall into the trap of undemocratic forces, the Prime Minister said.The Prime Minister however asked the MPAs of PPP and its coalition partners in Punjab Assembly to fully participate in the budget proceedings in accordance with best parliamentary practices.
