Summary Six people including a policeman were shot dead by unknown motorcyclists in Quetta on Sunday.
According to details, some unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on a wielding shop situated at Sirki Road killing five people including Najeebullah, Muhammad Nabi, Tariq, Muhammad Hassan and Abdullah on the spot.Two policemen deputed on patrolling rushed to the spot but the assailants also opened fire on them. Constable Hayatullah died on the spot while his fellow policeman critically injured.The dead bodies of the victims were shifted to Civil Hospital for autopsy and after the procedure were handed over to heirs.Police cordoned off the area and blocked entry and exit points of the city to search assailants.
