Summary Rs 730 billion tax-free Punjab budget for fiscal year 2012-13 will be presented on June 9.
Sources informed Dunya News that Punjab budget for fiscal year 2012-13 will be presented on June 9. Rs 250 billion will be earmarked for the development programmes out of which Rs 80 billion will be allocated for Southern Punjab.According to sources, laptop and Danish Schools progarmmes will continue during the next fiscal year while more that 20 percent increase in government employees salaries and pension is also under consideration.The sources further informed that no new tax will be levied in the next provincial budget.
