Summary Interior Minister said action would be taken against FIAs officers involved in human trafficking.

Rehman Malik Friday added that human trafficking would be controlled by adopting intolerable policies.He said this during meeting with newly-appointed DG ,FIA, Faiz Ahmed Leghari, who called on Rehman Mail in the ministry and discussed the measures to stop the human trafficking.Rehman Malik directed the DG to shift all the deported Pakistanis in Islamabad and maintain their record, which would help the department to take affective action against the human traffickers.He also recommended nominal increase in transport fares and directed the DG FIA that monthly payments of the FIA’s staff would be increased equal to the payment of Islamabad police. He directed to setup separate housing unit for FIA’s employees.He asked the DG FIA to submit anti corruption report 2011 in his office so that he could review the working of the FIA.Meanwhile, a Jirga led by MNA, Akhwanzada Chitan called on Interior Minister, Rehman Malik in his office.Rehman Malik praised the sacrifices rendered by the Salar Zai and Atam Man Khail tribes during operation against terrorist in tribal areas, adding that the tribes’ support to the FC proved their loyalty toward the country.
