Summary Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani says Pakistan wants to enhance its relations with India.
He expressed his strong desire to build further momentum to carry forward Pakistan-India relations in a constructive manner.He was talking to Pakistans High Commissioner-designated to India Salman Bashir in Islamabad on Thursday.The Prime Minister said Pakistan attaches importance to its relations with India.He expressed his appreciation for Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh with whom he held several constructive meetings.Yousaf Raza Gilani directed the envoy to work for improvement of relations and also convey his personal regards and best wishes to the Indian Prime Minister and ‚ President of Indian National Congress Madam Sonia Gandhi.Later talking to Chairman Public Accounts Committee Nadeem Afzal Chan the Prime Minister said his government believed in across the board accountability and the Federal Government would fully comply with the directions of the Committee.The Prime Minister assured that bureaucracy will extend full cooperation to the Public Accounts Committee which is a symbol of the supremacy of the Parliament.
