Summary At least seven people were killed in acts of violence in different parts of Karachi.
Some unidentified persons shot dead a poultry shop owner named Haris in Peetal Gali in Golimar area while a dead body was recovered from Lyari Stream.In Shah Faisal Colony, some unidentified persons shot dead an activist of a political party. The deceased was identified as Imran Baig. Police have also recovered a dead body from the jurisdiction of Sher Shah Police Station.Two people were shot dead in firing incident in Orangi Town while a man named Abdul Ghafoor was shot dead by dacoits on resisting a robbery bid in Hazara Colony.At least three people, including a shopkeeper Anwar, were wounded in firing incident in Tariq Road area while some unidentified persons opened fire and wounded Civil Judge Zaheer Ahmad near Water Pump. Meanwhile, police have arrested two dacoits from Nazimabad area while an extortionist was arrested from Manzoor Colony.
