Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Saturday‚ Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said that the decision of not filing appeal has been taken unanimously by Pakistan Peoples Party after consultation with the top leadership.Aitzaz said that he had already prepared an appeal containing 146 objections on the court ruling but the prime minister has directed not to register the appeal.Describing the decision of the National Assembly Speaker on the matter as the right one‚ he said the apex court in its decision has also not disqualified the Prime Minister.He also said he has never come across the word ridicule in the prime ministers indictment, therefore, the question of PMs disqualification does not arise.Aitzaz said the Prime Minister has been convicted on charges not framed against him.
