Summary Legal experts of PM Gilani have decided not to lodge an appeal against contempt case.
According to government sources, government has taken the decision after NA Speaker Dr Fehmida’s Ruling after the apex court verdict. Final approval has been directed by President Asif Ali Zardari.The government has already refused to accept penalty meted out to the Prime Minister in contempt of the court case. The sources said that lodging an appeal is tantamount to accept the court’s verdict.The government is scared that lest ruling of NA Speaker may be challenged in the Supreme Court.Barrister Aitzaz would also discuss the issue with the PM Gilani.
