Summary IHC has reserved the verdict on plea against the dismissal of defense secretary Naeem Lodhi.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Nawaul Haq Qureshi heard the plea pertaining to the dismissal of defence secretary Naeem Lodhi from his post.Deputy attorney general Tariq Jahangiri said that no contractual employee can file an application against his removal in court under article 199.Lawyer F.K. Butt, Counsel of Naeem Lodhi, said that his client was terminated without any prior notice.The deputy attorney general maintained Naeem Lodhi has been appointed as managing director at Fauji Fertilizers on which F.K. Butt argued that his client should be restored on position of defence secretary. He further said his client should be given the right to choose between both positions.The court reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments from both sides.
