Summary Lower court in Lahore reserved verdict on petition moved for registration of case against PMs son.
Noman Ahmad, the petitioner, moved a writ petition in the court of Additional District and Session Judge Javed Iqbal Sheikh and claimed that the Prime Minister’s son Abdul Qadir Gilani had attained Rs0.4 million from him for job in Sui Gas Department but neither he arranged for job nor returned the amount.The petitioner further said that he has been also threatened of dire consequences in case of demand for amount. He complained that the accused is an affluent person and police were not taking any step.He ultimately requested to the court that special orders should be issued to register a case against accused Abdul Qadir Gilani.The police, while expressing their stance, said that the petitioner has not moved an application for registration of case, with the assurance that they would take action in accordance with the rule of law if they receive any application in this regard. The court has reserved the verdict till May 28.
