Talking to a delegation of Supreme Court Bar Association led by its President Yaseen Azad in Islamabad today, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the government is working to strengthen democracy according to constitution.He said government restored constitution‚ strengthened institutions and democracy.The Prime Minister said the PPP played a leading role in the movement for freedom of judiciary.He said a case was registered against him under terrorism act while leading the movement after the arrest of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.He said Nawaz Sharif should learn lesson from history. He remarked that democracy is must for countrys development.The Prime Minister announced that he will soon launch housing scheme for lawyers in Islamabad. He announced onehundred million rupees grant for the construction of Supreme Court Bar building.President Supreme Court Bar Association Yaseen Azad said the government must complete its term to stabalize the democracy.
