Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the nation would be freed from the menace of terrorism soon. Talking to journalists on the monuments erected for the martyrs of Melodi tragedy, the Interior Minister said that Baitullah Mehsud has been killed and if any one says otherwise evidence is found in this connection, they should present it before the nation. He said that the government denounces the US drone attacks inside Pakistani territory despite the fact that a top militant leader was killed in one of these attacks. He demanded the US government to provide drone planes and technology to Pakistan so that effective action may be taken against the terrorists.
