Summary
Like the other provinces of the country, Independence Day celebrations are being held in Azad Kashmir with great zeal and zest. President Raja Zulqernain hoisted the national flag in the President House. The most important ceremony was held in the President House in Muzaffarabad. The ceremony was started with the police gun-salute to the Azad Kashmir President. Ministers, secretaries and citizens were also present on the occasion. Security was put on high alert before the flag hoisting ceremony.
