Teacher torture case: Investigation report presented

Joint investigation team formed against former Member of Punjab Assembly Aslam Madhiana submitted its report to Supreme Court of Pakistan, provincial government and IG Punjab.The ex-MPA has been accused of committing brutality on a local teacher, Nafees Khan, who raised an objection against the MPA for his criminal activities.The inquiry committee headed by Additional IG Investigation Punjab report revealed that Aslam Madhianna, his son-in-law Nadeem Sarwar Madhiana and co-accused are involved in the crime.The investigation teams report also suggested that the victim Nafees Khan declared Aslam Khan Madhiana as a thief, after which he was tortured.Nadeem Sarwar Madhianna provided arms to other accomplices and attacked the schoolteacher, the report said.Madhiana, however, denies the charges, saying he has nothing to do with the school teacher Nafees Khan.
